07 畢業生分享 Graduate Sharing 黃凱琳同學 Ms Sara Wong 會計及金融學理學士 | 一級榮譽畢業 BSc Accounting and Finance | First-class honours graduate 黃凱琳同學因 DSE 成績未能完全展現她的實力，轉而報讀了倫大的會計及金融學理學士課 程。令她欣喜的是，她能夠以合乎預算的學費修讀由著名學府LSE提供學術主導的優質課 程。憑藉其勤奮努力，她獲得獎學金遠赴倫敦LSE體驗暑期課程，並在當地完成了最後一 年學業。最終黃凱琳同學以一級榮譽畢業，並獲世界知名的會計師事務所聘用。 Despite her DSE outcome not reflecting Sara’s true potential, she chose to enrol in the University of London BSc Accounting and Finance programme. She was delighted to join a high-quality course academically directed by the LSE, with a more affordable tuition fee. Her dedication earned her a scholarship for the summer programme at LSE and she decided to complete her final year in London, graduating with First-Class Honours and securing a role at a leading accounting firm. 凝聚校友力量 設獎學金傳承薪火 University of London Alumni Event and Scholarships Professor Mary Stiasny、嘉賓及校友出席倫大校友聚會。活動焦點為傑出校友陳敏兒博士有 關人工智能及法律的主題演講。陳博士因一宗房產交易糾紛而決定透過學院修讀倫大法學士， 修學期間親自將案件上訴至終審法院，並成功勝訴，締造嶄新判例，被收錄於法律教材。 校友聚會期間，前香港大學專業進修學院院長、現任榮休院長楊健明教授親臨現場，率先於香 港設立首個專為透過學院修讀倫大法律學士課程的學生而設的「楊健明教授獎學金」及「楊健明 教授傑出表現獎」。此外，倫大亦宣佈另一獎學金「麥金托什獎學金」，惠及透過學院修讀倫大 所有課程的學生。 Professor Mary Stiasny also welcomed guests at the alumni event. At the event, our distinguished alumna, Dr Bethany Chan, delivered a talk on AI and Law. A property transaction dispute prompted Dr Chan to pursue the UoL LLB at HKU SPACE. Remarkably, while still a student, she represented herself in court, won her case at the Court of Final Appeal, and established a property law precedent that is now cited in Hong Kong textbooks. At the alumni reunion, it was announced that the “Professor Enoch Young Scholarship and Prizes” are designed for outstanding HKU SPACE students on the UoL LLB programme. In addition, McIntosh Scholarships are also available for UoL students at HKU SPACE.
