To this end, the School is actively expanding its outreach efforts in the GBA to enhance visibility and influence. An important breakthrough involves the establishment of official accounts on the popular Chinese Mainland social media platforms Xiaohongshu (XHS) and WeChat by the end of 2025, creating direct interactive platforms for the School with potential students in the GBA XHS is currently one of the most popular and rapidly growing social platforms in the Chinese Mainland. The School can leverage local, lifestyle-focused content and short reels to build brand reputation, effectively engaging target audiences. WeChat, with its user base numbering in the hundreds of millions, serves as the official channel for deepening brand narratives and disseminating course and event information to potential students. The content strategy encompasses three main themes: “Panorama” presenting the School’s history, international recognition, and academic strengths; “Forward-Looking Programmes” highlighting course features and learning outcomes; and “Profiles” showcasing real and vibrant learning stories through student testimonials and teacher insights. The School will synergise the strengths of these two platforms, further enhancing interaction with audiences, serving as a communication bridge between the course team and potential students, and striving to establish the official accounts on both platforms as the core social interaction hub for the School in the GBA, strengthening connections with the Chinese Mainland communities.
