On 3 November this year, the School had the privilege of hosting a delegation from MMU. Both parties exchanged the latest developments within their institutions and explored potential avenues for future collaboration. During this visit, the two institutions also signed the latest framework agreement to enhance co-operation, represented by Professor William K.M. Lee, Director of HKU SPACE, and Professor Jenny Watling, Pro-Vice-Chancellor of MMU. The two institutions will provide more quality higher education programmes for students. MMU will focus on designing programme content and making awards, while the School will continually enhance the learning environment and provide support services such as programme promotion and enrolment. Building on the successful signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between HKU SPACE and Temasek Polytechnic in June 2025, Temasek organised a study tour in September for academic and cultural exchanges with the School and the University of Hong Kong. Dr John Cribbin, Deputy Director (Academic Services) of HKU SPACE, extended a warm welcome to the visiting students and introduced the development of the School. Dr Kian Tan Un, Principal Lecturer, and Dr Wendy Ma, Senior Programme Director, then introduced the features of the sub-degree programmes and the local dietitian training programme. The delegation then moved on to the School of Biological Sciences at HKU to learn about the food and nutritional sciences programme. The study tour opened the door for more interactive opportunities in the future. 學院與英國曼徹斯特都會大學 (MMU) 的策略夥伴 關係始於1989年。今年11月3日，學院十分榮幸接 待了MMU的代表團，雙方就各自的最新發展進行 了交流，並探討未來的合作方向。 當天，兩院校亦簽訂了最新合作框架協議，由學院 院長李經文教授及MMU副校長Jenny Watling教授 代表簽署。雙方將致力為學生提供更多優質高等教 育課程。MMU負責設計課程內容並頒授畢業證書； 學院則持續優化學習環境，同時負責課程推廣及招 生等支援服務。 學院與新加坡淡馬錫理工學院（淡工院）於2025年6 月順利簽署合作備忘錄後，淡工院於9月安排了遊 學團來訪學院及香港大學 (港大)，進行學術及文化 交流。 學院常務副院長（學務）祈樂彬博士對來訪學生表 達誠摯歡迎，並介紹了學院的發展概況。隨後由首 席講師阮陳健貞博士及高級課程主任馬魯愛儀博士 分別介紹副學位課程及本地營養師培訓課程的特 色。交流團再轉到港大生物科學學院，了解食品與 營養科學課程。是次活動為日後更多互動機會打開 了大門。
