HKU SPACE

The HKU SPACE Foundation, along with its two sub-committees focused on Allocation and Investment and Fundraising, has remained active in 2024/25. The Foundation approved a sponsorship of $3,087,000 to HKU SPACE Community College and International College, bene iting over 502 full-time students through scholarships, bursaries, and whole-person development programmes. Thanks to the diligent efforts of the Foundation Committee, we successfully managed a portfolio totalling $59 million, bene iting more than 4,700 full-time students cumulatively with total allocations exceeding $26 million. Throughout the year, we have been truly grateful to Mr. William Au Weng Hei, SBS, JP for his signi icant and generous donation to the School. In 2025, the William Au Wing Hei Student Common Room in our Kowloon East Campus (KEC) was named to express our appreciation for his support. With over 5,000 informative articles and videos, Career SPACE has become a popular online career platform for students, alumni, and prospective students. In 2024/25, the platform recorded a reach of 10,000 users and amassed over 110,000 visits since its launch. In response to the rising trend of arti icial intelligence, we have embedded resources, information, and content related to AI within Career SPACE to empower our alumni. The platform's E-learning Hub, Workplace Skills resources, Newsroom, Job Search Engine, Aptitude and Personality tests, and Interview Simulator continue to be popular among users. 香港大學專業進修學院基金及兩個分別負責 撥款與投資及籌款工作的委員會持續活躍。在 2024/25 年度,基金撥款 3,087,000 港元資助 香港大學附屬學院及國際學院,用作獎學金、助 學金及全人發展課程,超過 502 名全日制學生 因此受惠。 有賴基金委員會的努力,我們成功管理了 5,900 萬港元的投資組合,逾 4,700 名學院全日制學 生因此受惠,總撥款超過 2,600 萬港元。 我們衷心感謝區永熙SBS太平紳士在過去一年 對學院的大力支持和慷慨捐助。為表達謝忱,學 院於2025年將九龍東分校的學生休息室命名為 「區永熙學生共享空間」。 Career SPACE 網上職業資訊平台共提供超過 5,000 篇資訊性文章和影片,獲得學生、校友及 準學生的一致好評。在 2024/25 年度,平台已 錄得一萬名用戶。自平台推出以來,總瀏覽次數 已超過 11 萬。 因應人工智能的崛起和發展趨勢,我們已將相關 資源、資訊與內容整合至Career SPACE平台, 讓校友掌握最先進科技知識。平台上的職場秘 笈、職場技能、職場消息、職缺搜尋引擎、能力 和性格測試及模擬面試等功能,繼續廣受學生和 校友歡迎。 HKU SPACE Foundation Career SPACE 껻度㣐㷸㼠噠鹎⥜㷸ꤎ㛇ꆄ Career SPACE笪♳耷噠须鎝䎂〵 The College of Business and Finance (CBF) theme has been “Road to Sustained Growth & Development” and CBF has focused on becoming the “Top Education and Training Hub in the Region”. Over the year, CBF has covered new trends and niche market demands. New areas cover Fund Administration, Generative AI for Banking and Finance, Investor Relations and ESG, Deepseek AI for banking, Non-pro it Crowdfunding with AI, Financial Fraud and Deepfake Detection, Loan Financing, Family Of ice Management, Cryptocurrency and Web3, CPD courses for tourist guides, Fine Wine Investing, Fine Watchmaking, Investment in Ancient Chinese Painting and Calligraphy and Feng Shui Planning for Oªice and Business. The online DBA programme, o ered by Edinburgh Napier University, was launched successfully during this period. CBF continues to establish and strengthen partnerships with industry and professional bodies. New alliances have been formed i.e with Association of Fund Administrators of Hong Kong and the GBA, Hong Kong Federation of Education Workers, Asia Paci ic Loan Market Association Limited, Travel Industry Authority, Vinitaly International Academy, The Chamber of Hong Kong Listed Companies, Hong Kong Credit and Collection Management Association and HSBC.
