The processes involved in the development and evaluation of new community nutrition services will also be covered. In addition, the programme offers a supervised practicum which provides practical experience for students. Advanced Certificate in Nutrition Programme Code: HS001A Application Code: 2135-HS001A This programme is designed to provide students with the knowledge of basic nutrition principles and their application. The impact of food-borne microorganisms in relation to health and disease will also be discussed. Applicants shall: I. (a) hold a bachelor’s degree awarded by a recognised university OR (b) hold a Higher Diploma awarded by a recognised institution with at least 2 years work experience OR (c) hold an HKCEE with Grade E in 4 subjects and with at least 5 years work experience OR (d) hold an HKDSE level 2 in 4 subjects with at least 4 years work experience. AND II. provide evidence of English proficiency, such as (a) have gained in the HKCEE Grade E (Syllabus B) or Level 2 in English Language; OR (b) have gained in the HKDSE Level 2 in English Language.
