HKU SPACE will play a pivotal role in bolstering educational progress and human capital within the GBA by delivering high-quality cross-boundary education and training opportunities tailored to the needs of participants from the region. Since December 2025, the School has launched full-time Postgraduate Diploma programmes that offer a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical training, integrating both local and international perspectives. These programmes aim to help Chinese Mainland participants acquire industry-specific skills and enhance their competitiveness in the workplace. Successful completion of any academic programme offered by the School leads to recognised qualifications within The University of Hong Kong system through HKU SPACE. The Hong Kong Qualifications Framework (HKQF) is a seven-level qualifications framework. According to this framework, both the Postgraduate Diploma and the Master’s Degree are classified as Level 6 qualifications.
