It is an international standardized test to assess the Chinese language proficiency of non-native speakers’ abilities in using the Chinese language in their daily, academic and professional lives. 0.5 hours to 3 hours HSK Level 1 Programme Code: ZECH8015A 3762 0805 hkpeac@hkuspace.hku.hk HSK Level 1 corresponds to the Level One of the Chinese Language Proficiency Scales for Speakers of Other Languages and the A1 Level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. HSK Level 1 test focuses on Chinese listening and reading ability, as well as the corresponding topics, tasks, grammar and 300 Chinese words. It consists of 40 questions, which are divided into two sections: listening and reading.
