Since its inception, the College has developed into a well-accepted institution providing quality subdegree education. The College has received a donation from deceased businessman and philanthropist Dr. Stanley Ho, to support its teaching and learning activities, and the whole person development of our students. In appreciation of Dr. Ho’s contribution and generosity, the College has been officially renamed as “HKU SPACE Po Leung Kuk Stanley Ho Community College (HPSHCC)” in 2015. Riding on the proven success and accomplishments in the past years, the College achieved a milestone in 2021 in developing as an awarding body of academic qualifications at the sub-degree level. HPSHCC currently offers 19 sub-degree programmes of multiple disciplines leading to awards within The University of Hong Kong system through HKU SPACE or awards of HPSHCC. The programmes cover a range of areas to cater for the diverse interests of young people. They aim to equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge for their academic and career advancement. Since its establishment, the College has over 16,000 graduates.
